Airports in Boston

Some of the important airports in Boston are Beverly Municipal Airport ,Logan International Airport,Norwood Memorial Airport ,Hanscom Field etc. Logan International Airport is the vital airport in Boston which operates a battery of flights connecting Boston to other parts of the world. Some of the international airlines operating to and from the airport are Lufthansa , Air France , British Airways , US Airways , American Airlines etc. The airport is equipped with all the modern facilities.

Boston, being a popular tourist destination is frequented by tourists from across the world. Logan International Airport has 5 terminals. Some of the airlines have special reserved spaces in the airport where the passengers traveling by those specific airlines can relax.

American Airlines ,Lufthansa Airlines , British Airways , Delta Airlines have their reserved spaces for the passengers in the airport. Logan International Airport also provides the facilities of cargo flights. Some of the cargo flights operating from the airport are DHL , FedEx Express etc. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is instrumental in providing the transportation facilities connecting the airport to an important rail station called South Station.

The buses also connect Logan International Airport to the metro rail. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority also connects the airport by ferries from the lower part of Boston. The other airports like Norwood Memorial Airport has two separate paths which can be used by the airplane for taking off or landing. Hanscom Field is mainly used for training. The defense department also uses the airport. Some other airports located in the vicinity of Boston are T. F. Green Airport and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. These airports are responsible for relieving Logan International Airport to some extent of the huge load of passengers.
