First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston is a church specially made for the wide spread of healing and educational system known as Christian science. This is the administrative headquarter of The Christan science Church. This famous church of Boston is conveniently located in the black Bay neighborhood of Boston.
History of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston: At the very outset in the year 1894 this church was
a gray stone structure. It has a much larger dome extension built in the year 1906. This church can boast of having the largest pipe organ of the world built in the year 1952 by the famous Aeolian-Skinner Company of Boston. The present structure of the church came into existence in the year 1970.

The present structure include a large administrative building, a colonnade, a fountain and a reflecting pool. The library of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston is situated at an 11 story building originally made for the Christan Science Publishing Society. The present plaza of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston was designed by one of the partner of Pei's firm Araldo A Cossutta.

Wednesday Meetings: The testimonial meeting held on every Wednesday is informal than Sunday service. The programme of Wednesday starts with music and reading from Eddy's science and Health
is made with a view to providing comfort, inspiration and healing touch to the people attending the congregation.
Sunday School: The church also runs Sunday schools to impart religious lessons to the children.
